Job Description

We are searching for a data scientist or a machine learning expert to join our Artificial Intelligence and Big Data (AI & Big Data) department. Tools developed in this department power the intelligence behind AMIR TECHNOLOGY’s SMART HOME. The department has three teams: data science, data engineering, and product management. You will be joining the data science team.

What you will do:

Own end to end life-cycle of data science projects.
Research and develop data-driven solutions (using pytorch, scikit-learn, …).
Gain insights using data analysis and present them to stakeholders.
Write close-to-production code.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team of data scientists, data engineers, and product managers.
Ability to identify and translate business and customer needs into data science projects.

Job Requirements

Curious and analytical mindset.
Team player.
Proficiency in statistical modeling.
Python and SQL proficiency.
Familiarity with big data tools (spark, hive, …).
Some knowledge of software development and its tools (git, docker, …).
Education in a quantitative field.

Nice to have:

Previously developed and deployed an end to end data science project.
Track record of identifying and addressing business pain points using data analysis.
Production grade software development expertise.
